General notary services
The State of Texas Government Code Ann. § 406.024 sets out the maximum fees a Notary Public may charge for notary public services. The fee schedule below lists each notarial act available through ETX Notary Public and the state fee.
first signer of each individual document
each additional signature of each individual
administering an oath/affirmation
swearing a witness to a deposition
Taking the deposition of witness, for each 100 words
protesting a bill or note
each additional notice of protest
protesting in all other cases

These fees are set by the individual notary and not by the State of Texas.
DISCOUNT MOBILE SERVICE 9am-5:30pm mon-fri
includes up to 20 minutes of service, exclusively available at Copy Center Nac, 2618 North Street Nacogdoches, TX 75965. This charge is separate from General Notary Services Fees.
standard mobile service 9am-6pm MON-SAT
includes travel to your location within 7 miles of the Nacogdoches Main Post Office (3007 N University Dr, Nacogdoches, TX 75965) for 20 minutes of service. Additional mileage or service time will incur a surcharge. This charge is separate from General Notary Services Fees.
mileage surcharge (8-50 miles)
A mileage surcharge is applied when a customer-designated location for service is greater than 7 miles from Austin St @ University Dr. Nacogdoches. Charged per mile (one way). This charge is separate from General Notary Services Fees.
mileage surcharge (51-75 miles)
A mileage surcharge is applied when a customer-designated location for service is greater than 7 miles from Austin St @ University Dr. Nacogdoches. Charged per mile (one way). This charge is separate from General Notary Services Fees.
mileage surcharge (76+ miles)
A mileage surcharge is applied when a customer-designated location for service is greater than 7 miles from Austin St @ University Dr. Nacogdoches. Charged per mile (one way). This charge is separate from General Notary Services Fees.
sunday service surcharge
This charge is added when Notary Service is required on a Sunday. This charge is separate from General Notary Services Fees.
late evening service surcharge (6-9pm)
This charge is added when Notary Service is required from 6-9pm. This charge is separate from General Notary Services Fees.
late night service surcharge (9pm-midnight)
This charge is added when Notary Service is required from 9pm-midnight. This charge is separate from General Notary Services Fees.
overnight service surcharge
This charge is added when Notary Service is required from midnight-8am. This charge is separate from General Notary Services Fees.
cancellation fees
These fees are set by the individual notary and not by the State of Texas.
late cancellation
Cancellations made less than two hours from the scheduled appointment time will incur a cancellation charge equaling the full amount of the original fee documented in the estimate or invoice. No refunds will be made.
customer no-show
A customer who is a no-show to a scheduled appointment will incur a cancellation charge equaling the full amount of the original fee documented in the estimate or invoice. No refunds will be made.

Mobile Notary is standard mobile notary service at your location.
what is the process?
Book your mobile notary service by contacting ETX Notary Public by phone.
Your appointment will be confirmed by email or text.
Bring your valid, unexpired photo ID and your document(s) to the agreed location/time.
Get your document(s) notarized.
where do we meet?
Some places mobile notarization can happen: at a coffee shop, a hotel lobby, the public library, or an office.
How long does it take?
~15 minutes per standard document, depending on the document length and complexity.

when are services offered?
Notary Services will be available 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 12 pm to 1pm at the Nacogdoches Public Library, 1112 North Street.
what else do i need to know?
All the conditions of regular notary services must be met to complete notarization. Signer must be 18 years or older and present a valid, unexpired photo ID. See our FAQ for a complete list of acceptable forms of identification.
